The Good Vs. The Lousy
i was thinking for very long, which one should i write about first... the good or the lousy?
i am gonna talk about 2 westernise restaurant today, one is a disappointment, the other is the unexpected.
i went to Indulgz at Tan Quee Lan street after work with dongz the other day to celebrate our 2 years anniversary. i was hoping for really good food as the pricing is on the higher end and the ambience was hmm.... "trying very hard to be high class".
firstly, i made a reservation through email, and the response from i guess the female boss was really fast. and i was really looking forward to it. you see it was a 2 year anniversary dinner~
then when we reach there, the waitress just got us seated on some "not-so-nice-spot". i saw the cushion seat empty at that point of time and requested to sit there. however the reply was "sorry it's reserved". so i just bare with it.
then these 2 indian girls came and it was the exact scenario, and they say the same thing and requested to sit at that cushion seats. and then they was awarded it. i was pretty pissed off, and gave an expressionless face to that same waitress that rejected my requested but allowed those 2 indian girls instead, when we were there first. she just reply me "erh, they are the one that had reservation for it". i was like "I BELIEVE YOU I AM BLOODY FOOL!"
forget about that unhappy incident, i promised myself never to throw temper and behave in that "nvm its ok" way. cuz you see, its that 2 year anniversary! and i dont want to spoil it all by complaining and craps! which i jolly well could easily have done it.
okie the food part...

its the soup and starter.... the soup was too buttery, and the prawn too oily~

the only interesting thing was the "ga-rang-guni" glass bottle.

when dongz's seafood platter was here, the strong smell of unfresh seafood came right across. i guess it went really bad with the bake cheese... just imagine, cheese and unfresh seafood!

then my ribs came. and it was.... so so... the pricing was equivalent to tony romas, but the taste, 一个天,一个地! and the whipped potato was like butter smashed with boiled potato!
above is the lousy place, that i will never go back again, first, the food wasn't nice and 2nd it was fucking expensive! that meal cost like close to 80 bucks! hell, although i wasn't the one that paid, i felt heart pain for such wastage!
the most scary part is that i have always got bad stomach, and i guess the food was too oily, i went home and had a great time puking! =O~
then... the one that really impressed me is....
THUMBS UP FOR:

Aston!! available at cathay and katong area. was recommended by dong's friend. and i force dongz to eat with me, cuz he sort of got phobia that it will turn out to be something like indulgz (the lousy one). you see, he dont really change his taste...

my grill fish, and you can choose 2 side dish of your own choice! i really like that idea, it like you can choose from a wide variety of side dishes, and all the side dishes is really nice and common~ hahahh~ i have chosen coleslaw and onion rings~

dongz combo~! chicken and sausages~ with potato salad~ it's great!

let me prove to you how nice it was~ see almost all clear~ =D
and the pricing was really cheap! that meal cost around 20 plus~ see!
okie... thats all for today~ =D recently i am really gang ho with bloggin~ i got lots more to write about.
i wont give up on blogging, i almost did, but i love it~ i just like to write about myself and the things around me so much. =D
