PRaWniNg!!.... Loves it!!
yesterday zijian bought me to this place somewhere near Jurong Bird Park and did some prawning. It's actually somesort like fish pond area, but its prawn swimming inside. but you have to pay to prawn there. per hour is 13$ but 3 hours is 25$ for one rod, and some "ham".. the cockles.. are given to be used at bait. zijian kept telling me that its so damn easy to catch the prawns here, the first time he went his friends got 20 over prawns. but GUESS WHAT! zijian only caught his first prawn one hour later!! he la.. i kept telling him i wanna try but he say only after he got his first prawn... which is like what.. an hour later! yup and when i took over him *finally he decides to let me give it a try* i caught my first prawn not even a min later!!!!! YEAHZZZ! i dunno if i'm lucky or what but it definately take skills and patient to do it. and i caught my number 2 and 3 within the next 10 minutes. zijian was like *dear dear u very li hai leh!!* hahaha!!! yeahz! *thanks* i was really happy and excited. the feeling is like super SHIOK when you caught it! unspeakable kind of happiness! a feeling of success!! ha ha ha!! hehehzzz.... and i learnt to fight a prawn.... L:OVES IT!
after the 3 hours, i caught 7 prawns and zijian caught 1. heheeeez. then he bought me to this place up the slope, somewhere near bird park.. i think its call jurong view or something. i get to see the really nice view of the jurong island. PERFECTO! really romantic and sweetz. then he rush me back to my place as its rather later and tmr he got to work. it was like 12 plus and i told him we have to eat the prawns by now cuz if its kept then its pointless already, cuz prawn meat gets nasty after refrigerating. not as perfecto... u know.....
so at my house we rush to cook the prawns. we started off by cleaning the prawns and take it's shit outz. guess what one of the prawns that i was cleaning is still breathing!! ewweee.. but no choice.. its really fresh. then my ima help us marinate the prawns by putting some hua tiao jiu, salt and sugar. then i got some butter and piushhhh!!! stir fry it!!! OMG!!! the taste was superb!! fantastico!!! i dun really like to eat prawn, but that was unbearable!!! yUMMMMzzzz!! loves it. got a pic of the prawns before it goes to the frying pan... here it is...
i would really love to go there again. and i must catch more prawns so can share with my family... hehez... loves it....
