Loving my new hair cut from Twister

it has been such a long time since i upload photos to photobucket for blogger i forgot whats my username and password! damn long...

hi to my new hair cut and colour. its been more than 2 months since i have a proper hair cut! the colour is a really nice shade of brown that the hairstylist has chosen for me. he says its going to suit my skin tone, and its totally true i love it so much.

I went to Twister at Tampines One, and Kason was the person that have done my hair.

anyway the colour doesnt look like this in real life. its a really natural brown. but looks like blonde under the light. totally rocks big time.

photos were taken on day 2 after the cut actually. and i purposely thonged the ends of my hair to make it look dolly, otherwise its plain straight. :)

okie thats all for tonight. gotta study.. and complete my gossip girl 3. tata~

Look at the big picture instead of pin-pointing on the small stuff

at this point of time, i just feel so damn frustrated. designing of flyers is my job but please, i just think some people are taking for granted.

i heard from a fellow colleage that this another colleague mentioned during my performance appraisal 1.5 years back that all i only know is "do flyers!" furious and anger pump straight into my blood! perhaps she didnt know all the other stuff that i did and can do!

today, somebody pinpointed on the flyer that i did, saying that i put caps in the middle of the headline when the height difference between the alphabets was like 0.5mm! i was like this kind of thing i cant control what! the alphabets are designed like that what can i do!? and she kept insisting that i caps the alphabet. please, capping the alphabet will make the height difference of the alphabet goes like at least 3mm! i was like wtf!?

anyway all this do flyer do flyer thing is making me so frustrated. do flyer already got production i still got motivation to do, but use her mouth to say do flyer but zero production. like wtf right?!

aiya.. i really wanna sing the song... "let it be... let it be... let it be... let it be..."

Me and my Grandpa

Gonna grab these few minutes from my break to do this blog entry. what break you must be thinking, its my break from studying MACROECONOMICS! i took 4 days of leave to study. Hopefully to complete at least half of HRM which exam is gonna be next saturday.

Here is the joke about me and my grandpa....
It was 8 plus in the morning and i was really high tight, wanted to ease till i am really fully awake to do the business but simply cannot tahan. and i was really tired, slept at 2am that night. so out i went to the toilet and realize it was the first day of my "AUNTIE!".... rushed back to my room to get some kotex, ok i dont use Kotex by the way.... its just the terms tt people love to use.

so half awake i walked back to my room and peep into my granparents room, ususally by this hour my grandpa will still be sleeping, but he wasnt on his bed, so i tot he probably went to the market or what. walked into my room and saw a white figure! SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF ME! NB! its my grandpa la!!!!

he thought i went to work without tidying my bed and switching off the night light and he was trying to switch off the night light which he failed miserably, he dunno that he light has got a turning switch instead of a tic-tac switch...

AND GUESS WHAT! i scare the shit out of him too! appearing behind him! hahhahhahahh!!! ok thats about it....

back to studying. muacks.

When no one is reading

I know its been ages since i update, i guess it has come to a point where no one even bother to visit my blog anymore. i guess its better this way also, i get to write more personal stuff.

Looking at the facebook photos my friend from SQ posted up, i feel so jealous. travelling to all different parts of the world, have a lovely ocean view hotel room, enjoying lots of good food, having good accompany... wah... i miss my flying days....

i miss the days when i was training in japan, living in another country, having a bunch of great singapore girls for friends. i remember the days where we go to harajuku, it was winter and we were eating ice cream creps. wahhh shiok but damn cold.

i miss the days where i must visit the shopping mall when i touch down at JFK, despite the long hours of flight, i must go to my abercrombie, my f21, my sephora, my victoria secrets, my delias and the list goes on and on and on... i miss it...

but, there's always a saying, you can never get best of both world. i am happy to be seeing my family everyday, seeing dongwei alot, and meeting him every saturday for movie without fail (unless really got important staff that we have to attend to la), happy to also be able to help my 2 old folks (gong gong and popo) during dinner time and enjoying my popo lovely cooking.

yes, i must be contented, i prefer it now too. imagine me gotta fly to jfk and miss world cup with my family, aiyo it will be so sian.

life is beautiful, i choose it this way, i must learn to be appreciate all of it.

Good morning from Bintan Lagoon Resort

Entry I wrote on the previous time I went bintan. April 12. Zzzz yes I know it's v outdated. But I forgot to post up as I didn't had Internet access.

It's now 9am in the morning at bintan, n it is one hour behind Singapore. Drank so much last night with the company n am having a slight headache now.

I love coming to the resort, only when I have time to enjoy, and most of the time I don't.

And usually I'll have my own room, this time round I gotta share with one if my colleagues as the main point is BONDING for this trip. Initially it was with somebody i am not so close with, but thank goodness I had the chance to swap secretly n be with one of my closer colleague.

Shall continue to blog later when i have time. Meanwhile i shall text michelle to wake up for breakfast. Feeling hungry now...

When everything falls apart, I still have myself

Since a couple of weeks back, my emotions was unstable and i was often feeling upset and unhappy, about certain things.

exactly a week back, i was feeling horrible.

Now i am ok. i must love myself as during this low period of my life, i kept telling myself "when everything falls apart, i still have myself". i even thought of having that sentence tatooed on my body, to mark it as part of life; something that i went through before. So that everytime i sees it, i know i still have myself even if everything goes wrong. I wanna thank that somebody up there for making me healty, beautiful and strong.

i'm not like very totally into myself, but at times i will just look at myself and think of things like... thank god for giving me my perfect eyesight and beautiful pair of eyes with double eyelids. thank god for giving me my pair of beautiful hands to write, touch and cook.

during this point of my life, i have got a couple of people that i really wanna thank. they are constanting messaging me and checking me out. giving me lots of care and concern. people like jessica, hui, p, michelle, gp and ky really stood by me all the time.

of cuz during this period of time, i realise i love dongwei alot, and he is really a good man.

and i must confess, i fell down this time, but i learnt from my mistake. and due to my agressiveness in certain things, i never give up and i do my best to whatever my aim was. and yes, victory taste good.

Neutrogena

got my Neutrogena loots a couple of weeks back and tried them out.

above is the full ranged that i have received.

It consist of Hydro Boost Mousse Cleanser, Hydro Boost Clear Lotion, Hydro Boost Essense, Hydro Boost Water Gel and Hydro Boost Mask.

The first item that i tried out was the Hydro Boost Mask! i love masks and i do them at least once a week. Tried a couple of brands and i am really cautious with what i use. Some of the mask makes me break out, especially at the jawline area, i dont know you if experience it before. I've got combination skin, however my skin got really dry certain days due to the environment i am in. staying in AIR CON places like my office and bedroom is one of the reason to the dryness.

The Hydro Boost Mask is pretty different from the ones i have used before as it has got small little holes on the sheet, i guess it makes your skin "beathe" better. I must say its really very hydrating. My skin feels really radiant after using it.

the next 2 items that i used were the lotion and essence! i so love the essence, the feeling is so light and after i applied it, my skin feels really smooth and hydrated. :) THUMBS UP for the essence.

Instructions say to apply this water gel after the lotion or essence which i do every morning after my make up. The boost is like a protection to enhance hydration.

This is the cleanser.... which i have not try.. shall try and update you soon!

Heartland Cut

I'm having my hair cut and colour now. Have no idea why the process always makes me feel sleepy.

Used to go to Supercuts at Siglap but am getting to lazy to travel far for my hair when this heartland one has got a good stylist, not fantastic but good enough.

Just a 10 min bus ride n I'll reach here. I can wear as awful as I want n need not put on any make up. Loves to be lazy at times. Also it's alot more cheaper here!

While waiting for the colour to set I blog to pass time... Had choosen a much darker colour this time round as my hair colour always gets lighter as time goes by. Gonna cut back my bangs n am looking forward to a neater me.

A little about the stylist at this heartland place, he's a nice guy, I always prefer man to do my hair. His ringtone is ultimate to the season; previously it was lady gaga's bad romance n this time round I'm here it's the very POP Korean boy band which I forgot the name, that song goes "sorry sorry sorry...", yes I know u get what I'm saying.

Trying really hard to not fall asleep, thank goodness there's iPhone. Anyway am going to play some games now! ChiAo chiao!

was reading online that Lady Gaga used to be a stripper! before she is famous! damn daring person.

another thing, if you see clearing, before the song starts, the field scene, one of them is wearing a earpiece. thats the lady gaga earpiece, if i'm not wrong it cost ard $300!

anyway watch closely, the part she leaves the prison, wearing the big hat and round sunglasses, she did some damn funny moves which is totally laughable!!

lady gaga is so fab. the actual song is just ard 3 min plus? but she can make a close to ten min mtv with it! dope! would love to see them act a movie, something like that would be nice!

OCBC's Lo Hei at Taste Paradise

OCBC's lo-hei for partners was at Taste Paradise at ION.

Went with Rae and i must say, the fine dining chinese food are YUM!

Before i go straight to the point, am gonna show off a little. lol! Rae drove us to ION from office and i was the ION guide! hohoho! :) haha

okie back to the lohei. here is the menu for that night's lohei.

its not a ten course dinner, just a 6-course dinner, but i was like SUPER FULL at the 4th course.
anyway please look at the items, there are all atas courses. :pPpP

this is superb! the superior premium shark fin's soup!

i am so going to ask dongwei to bring me to eat this again on our anniversary. This is around $60 a bowl okie. but i can tell you, i felt like i was younger by 4 years the following day. its full of collagen! the soup is like boiled, double-boiled, tripple-boiled (if there is!?) haha! super KAO lo! damn shiok! my lips was so sticky after drinking it, its like i just pumped myself with botox. ~drama-momento~

this is the pen chai! its like SUPER BIG BOWL of everything. abit over la this. but nice. not the first time having this, the first time was back when i was at Hongkong. so i kinda expected whats in it.

this however is my ultimate favourite! scallop with noodle. damn nice! okie.. so like i said, the next anniversary, i'll ask dongwei to bring me here and i'll have 2 things. one is the shark fins, the other one will be this. :)

JB Trip Part 2 - Camwhore

Our room! far end is grace's end and the one nearer to toilet is mine. i request to sleep nearer to toilet cuz i leave the toilet's light on when i sleep so its better for it to shine on me instead on grace. grace loves sleeping in total darkness which i am to timid to! muhahaha!

yup grace was ready by that time and we were waiting for jades and leticia to be done. grace behind me watching tv. lol! so shiok still got time to watch tv.

my CNY is over for 2010. life is back to normal.

anyway its good to know that i do not have to work today! (MONDAY!) cuz i am on leave! the feel is LOTS OF LOVE!

gonna sleep later and out for some shopping.

had a great day today. to mr tan's place for annual CNY gathering. its our 9th year there after we graduate from sec sch, time flies.

then had grocery shopping with dongz at mustafa and bought HELL LOTS! he bought a blender and tons of fruits, keep saying he wanna make his own fruits smootie. told him to be careful otherwise he is gonna have stomach ache, his reply to me was "all ang mor also do like that, why will have problem." i went -.-! ya thats my bf. love him to the core though. muhahahha!

the boys shared this! it looks big but the portion is kinda little for the boys. it says serves 4 but only 3 of them shared this still not enough lo. its not that they are big eater, it was just that the portion is really little.

this group photo was damn funny! the girl that took this photo actually left shimin out~ she is beside meishan and its like totally cut her off! we laughed like mad when we QC the photo. lol

Kick-Off 2010 at Johor Bahru

it was Johor Bahru this time round, instead of Bintan Lagoon Resort for our Kick-off meeting annually. A bus picked us all up from the office after work at around 5pm and drove us into JB. Traffic was perfect and we reached the hotel at around 6 plus...

Here is everybody... our Ms. Chua doing group check-in for us while we wait patiently for our room-key card.

Here's our room. I twin-shared with Grace. We stayed at Grand Paragon Johor Bahru. A rather nice hotel indeed. I kinda prefer city hotel than resort. i guess i like the feeling of stepping onto carpet instead of mosaics.

after a little bit of unpacking and freshen up, we head out for our dinner.

Dinner was at this very famous paper wrapped chicken (纸包鸡) place call teck sing!

one thing about malaysia is, there are rather flexible with you eating otuside food. like this case, the bar kut teh was at another stall beside teck sing, and when we asked the waitress in teck sing if we can bring in bar kut teh, they were ok about it.

then durian session, but not for me. rae and let's favourite... i hate durian, hate the smell, hate the taste since i was a baby. yeah no kidding! my granny told me that my mum will puke like hell when she was pregnant with me, if she eats durian. see i hate it naturally~ before born! lol

here's how the place look like. simple, air-conditioned. The place is pretty clean too. Check out that big chicken poster!

Dinner was definitely satisfying... we all went back to hotel after dinner so we can rest early and get ready for the following day's presentation.

On that very night, grace and myself bath and headed to let & jades' room and chat till we were really tired. had lots of fun and laughters! it was really enjoyable.

Meeting was fine, but TONS AND TONS of things for marcom to complete. -.-~ haiz

After the meeting, we had a little bit of time before heading for dinner. so let me and grace went to Holiday Plaza to shop a little. i only bought one pair of heels from parkson~ nothing much to shop also. also it could be due to me not having enough cash. i only bought 90 ringgit in! lol

thats all for the night.... after dinner, i guess all of us were really tired. we went back to our hotel room to rest. leticia came over to me and grace's room to chilll out a little as jades went for a drink at the bar at the hotel...

the following day was teambuilding day!

one of the teambuilding activity we gotta do is that e have to design/make/ build something using given materials, which was newspapers and straw to place an egg and make sure that the egg wont break when it is being drop off from a high place. and one of the point is that ou can use any material in the room or outside the room.

this is my lovely teammates! so cooperative! leticia, jades, grace, new colleague brian from korea were in my team.

here's the other team~

our team was really good! we had this brilliant and creative idea. i told them we need something to hold the egg and leticia mentioned to build a newspaper box, which jades know how to make~ then i sugguest we build a hot air balloon structure, i even ask brian to go steal the red plastic bag lying in the middle of the room for the balloon part. then brain suggest that we do a spring/ cushion to protect the egg's bottom. the whole team was simply brilliant, and so was the idea! i definitely think our team did a much better job than the other team~

see!! totally beautiful, creative and it worked! our hot hair balloon structure worked! the egg did not break as the plastic bag that was acting like hot air ballon really did restrict gravity!

after teambuilding, we headed for lunch before leaving back to singapore.

i love this! niang tou fu! shiok! my granny always cook this at home!

here's the fish ball kwey tiao i had... damn shiok~ kwey tiao is nice and smooth, and the soup was simply SEDAP!

then after lunch it was some shopping.. we headed to pelangi~ while waiting for rae and jades to get their nails done, leticia and myself went to secret recipe to have some desserts! the brownie with ice-cream was so so good! simply delicious! i had it once at KL when i was doing a newyork via KL and it was damn memorable. so was this time round.

anyway me and let was quite pathetic during the last part, cuz we ran out of ringgit. i suggested we go have mc ice cream which we can afford when she wanted something else. so we actually calculated how much we have before we enter secret recipe and made sure we order stuff within our limits. lol! damn funny~ :) but it was simply enjoyable. simply lovely~ :)

the whole trip was nice. i prefer JB so much than bintan. cuz i hate bintan ferry rides, i always feel utterly tired after the ferry ride... bleahz!

Bintan day trip

My day trip to the resort is rather good. Got all stuff done within time limit. Just tt e weather is really hot n I was sweating like a pig. Cannot imagine myself working there. I'll be really tan n dry.

Had a heavy lunch just now at kopi-o restaurant. Buffet style, food was so so, the best was thr baked pasta, tt was yum! The dessert is alot better than the main spread. Mango pudding was fab n I had cookies from a cookie jar n it was yum!! Guess the too much carbo I had is making me really drowsy now. Gonna have a good nap in thr ferry ride later.

Travelling to bintan always wear me out. Dunno is it because of the ferry ride.

I wasn't traveling so comfortably this time round. Will get to have private transfers usually but not this time round, not this time round if u r not travelling with a director. Anyway I'm fine as I'm quite familiar with e resort n the terminal.

Alrighty shall end here cuz the real Friday begins now for me!

Unfairness

Am feeling kinda frustrated today. Thinking of some stuff, some stuff that is bothering me.

Was talking to dw n he was explaining to me tt life is unfair n it is those people tt can tolerate this unfairness tt will eventually survive.

I used to be somebody that offends people unknowingly with words coming out of my mouth. But now I am alot more sensitive n I think before I speak.

I wasn't the only one, I realize some people around me have this problem. N naturally when u have this problem, u will be the unwelcome one, people will intentionally leave you out. Another word, u will be the outcast. So why not just think of someone else feeling n speak only with ur brains?!

Another story tt I wanna share abt my frustration starts like this.... A woman goes to a fast food restaurant, ordered some food n asked the cashier for some ketchup. Cashier then tell woman that ketchup has got a price of 50cent. Lady really needs ketchup to goes with her food, so she paid the money. Cashier than inform lady that she can pump her ketchup at the ketchup counter. The lady felt really happy cuz she was thinking that she has got no restriction to how much she wants to have. So she pump alot alot alot of ketchup out, the portion of ketchup was at least five times more thN what she needs. end of story.

The moral of the story is tt some people r just emotionally unbalance, just like e lady in the story. She pAid for the ketchup n she felt really umcomfortable therefore to cure her emotional unbalance n money she paid, she took more ketchup for little or no reason.

The world is funny (weird) so are some of the people around me.

Life is short n I will continue to search for what is best for me. At least what is best for me now.

Before I sleep, n while waiting for my mc donald's supper to be digest, I shall do a short entry of the jhb trip I just had.

It's definitely a very enjoyable trip. have been doing meetings at bintan for donkey times n finally I get to travel out to somewhere other than bintan for a company retreat.

The company was great. Grace was definitely a great roommate. I actually felt much safer n secured sharing room with her. Also the late night chill session at jades n let's room was really fun n memorable.

Kick off meeting was ok but the number of items that needs to be follow up is stressing the hell out of me. Not gonna talked about it now. It's sat k. Of cuz my promotion is a great thing, hard work pays.

The food was the best part. I enjoyed every single meal I had there! Am so so happy about it :)

I'm quite prepared for tmr's jb trip. Gonna be there for 3 days 2 nights. It's no fun! It's for a kick off meeting n kick off meeting totally sucks big time. Talking abt it, needa grab my thumb drive for e presentation slides.

I'm pretty all set by now, dunno what else should I bring... I just added in one more dress... Just incase. Anyway iPhone will be my main source to keep track of life when I'm there.

Darline's belated birthday lunchie

Since I'm so free while waiting for dongwei, my loverboy, to be done with his gym session, I might as well blog about darline's birthday lunchie now. And e short nails r advantage to easy typing. Yeah... (this paragraph was written ytd)

Met up w her yesterday at parkway before I head for e championship boxing at Suntec. Shuhui was suspposw to be there but there was something wrong with her clothes website last min n she couldn't join us.

Bought my fav scrub n st. Michael's cookies while waiting for line to reach. Then it was dinner at ichiban boshi. I love the place alot now i wanna go there again soon! The restaurant shifted it's location n have some really nice renovations.

Our food...

Here's mine. I had this seto call nabayaki something. It's kari udon with karake chickin. The other day Chloe Leticia were sti talking about this nabei word n chloe kept insisting tt there's a jap food call nabei one. Lol. Ok it's proven there really is. Anyway it's v nice ESP e half cooked egg! Ultimate Shiokness!

Here's darline's seto. Power!! There's sashimi, chickin katsu, soft shell crab! Super worth it! Told her e next time I go I'm so gonna have this set. Yum!

Here's all lovely goodies darline got for me from her hk trip. Sheet masks, cookies... And the nail clipper is for dw :) so sweet! Thankew darline. Love all e goodies!

Then it was e main activity for e meet up, which is present presentation! Her bday present frm me n hui.

Haha I know the wrapping paper is a little off, cannot blame me la, couldn't find any nicer wrapping paper other than this at home.

It's a damn chio white baby g! With a pink face. I love it alot myself n am thinking of gettiing it for myself. Darline so so so so loves it n hui too love it alot. So hui suggested tt we get her e exact same one for her bday n I'll get for myself so tt e three of us can have e same watch. It's a symbol of our strong friendship. Great right!?

Then I ask darline to pose like e baby g advert we always see on mag... Lol I think she didn't do e baby g version, she did a tag heuer version! Lol

iPhone - My iBaby

okie i know this is stupid but i queued for 7 hours to get my iphone.

on the first day of launch, 9th Dec (wed), i went to M1 shop after work, queued up for an hour before i get a q number to be assisted. -.-! yes an hour just to get the q no. only okie!

while q-ing (around 4 more pax to my turn), the store manager/supervisor shouted "ladies and gentlemen, it will take at least 5 hours before your turn comes after you have take a q no." okie i went totally blank.

asked myself if i should really do it, ponder ponder ponder. spoke to ima. and finally decided to do it. cuz reservation for bugis shop will only be for 3 days, so its like "do or die".

went home bath and have dinner before rushing back to the shop at 9pm. they were saying gates will close at 9pm

and then started the journy of q-ing up.

at 12.25am! in the morning, its finally my turn. got my ibaby and queued up for another 45 min or so for PAYMENT! yes pay money also need to q ok.

i was freaking hungry and tired. grab a bite with dongwei before heading home. reached home at 2am in the morning, woke up at 7am for work. yes thats all for my ibaby. but so far its all worth it.

thanks for all the wishes from alot of my dear friends ar... i'm in the iphone club! :)

didnt get to use the phone till friday. cuz thursday was out with the jal girls till late also. and i am damn tired to meddle with anything.

finally got home earlier on friday and played with my ibaby. didnt know how to use it and got a little frustrated (cuz due to lack of sleep also laaa). sent jessica an sms asking her, where are all my contacts?

immediately she called and say "girl you dunno how to use ar? i teach you!"

i was blessed. jessica (ah bao) spent one hour (1am to 2am) teaching me how to use the phone. it was intensive training and thank goodness she was there. :)

Sentosa Trip

finally i managed to pull dongz to sentosa! i have been asking him to go with me since ages. and finally we went on hari raya haji. enjoyed pretty much but the Q was horri-gi-ble!! we needed to q at least half an hour for each ride... at least!

we took the 4D shows... all was good.

inside the room waiting for our turn to enter the theatre. i cant remember the names of the shows. i just know the first one was the pirates one, the next was the extreme log ride.

all the peeps! scary huh...

this is cool~ its a game where u sit on "horses" and shoot at the screen... cant remember the name....

dongz.... emo while waiting.... haha!

dongz bad photography skills! anyway i was the third best shooter! and my face was captured on the screne. top 3 get to be captured.

then it was the luge ride which was the best!!!!!! i wanna sit the luge ride again!! really its super enjoyable! u all must try!

i was trying to do a self shot and this angmor lady saw and she was so helping, she asked me to pass my camera to her so she can help us take a shot! and this made is the only nice shot for us for the whole trip! i just love these angmors at times, they are so sporty and spontaneous.

we sat this after the luge ride and it was something like cable car but much more scary, windy and exciting! i told dongz to change to shoes as he wanted to wear slippers for the sentosa trip. -.-! if he wears slippers it might drop off during this k~

anyway dongz had a puff during the ride. he was saying "the feeling will be damn good to have a smoke now" then he took out his cigarettes and started smoking. i totally went -.-!!!

Shawn & Ginny's Wedding

shawn is my grandaunt's son and on 13th Nov 09 (friday) he held his wedding at rasa sentosa.

i purposely took 2 days leave to prepare for the wedding, alright, partly to rest also la. moreover its year end, gotta clear some leaves, and its kinda slow these days...

went to do my nails on thursday with clara. i love the design alot, unfortunately it didnt last for more than 4 days. total disappointment. it was french, gold with black tips, it is super chio and looks very very CHANEL.

and on the very day, i went to thonged my hair. its my first time at the salon, a heartland salon recommended by ima. the girl has got such skillful hands, i almost fell asleep while she wash my hair, her massage skills were good! so is her thonging skills. fab! i love the curls alot alot... too bad of the weather and the texture of my hair, i needed to put alot of hairspray for the curls to last, still, it struggled cuz it rained...

Night of Terror! - Night Safari Halloween

went to night safari on halloween day itself. actually i went on the saturday one week before halloween but queued for 2 hours and didnt even manage to get the tickets for administration... dongz was with me and his face was awfully black!

but i still wanted to go really badly, cuz i know its gonna be fun and i've never been to the night safari. and thanks to rae for telling me about this halloween theme night safari.

not giving up, and in fact i jio hui and JH to go on halloween's night. and thanks to dongz for being so patient. *love love* :P

the queue was also damn freaking long on halloween's night but we were super heng cuz we manage to cut queue!

it was a U-turn queue and there was a break in the queue, dongz walked calmly and closed up the gap, me followed without hesistation! however the blur blur JH was still telling hui that the Q goes up to the other end... hui was like "快点啦！你还在等什么！"
hahhhaaaa damn funny ok man the scenario... i should have video it up.

okie the main entry........ and some of the shots might be rather NC-16....

dracula simply doesnt like to face me.. or he is busy scaring other ppl....

the crazy killer clown! i got scare by him while trying to take a photo of another character....

its me and hui with the halloween effect... :P

above is the terror express or something. its like the ride, but you get to eat your meal while u are on the train. and the deco, of cuz much special...

see... scary right! JH was saying he wanna take this in the future, so he need not Q up...

after 2 freaking hours, finally its our turn!!

a shot when its finally our turn, i look extremely happy, cuz i was really super excited. its me and dongz.... he looks really tired..... :) ohh... i wanted to dress like the cowgirl.. but i dunhave matching hat to go along... i still got my winter days boots with me...

and here comes the ride, didnt manage to get any shots of the animals, but they are super adorable. the first part of the ride is the norm of the night safari, seeing the animals. then the 2nd part was the SCARY part!! where all the "huntu" come out... :S damn scary!! trust me.. i scream till my throat went sore..

before boarding the tram, hui was telling me to try to sit at the last row of the tram cuz she heard reviews that its the best seats~! however we cant choose our seats, its according to the Q. the staff will actually guide you... like 4 by 4 by 4... lined up and seated nicely... so i counted and realise we cant be seating on the back row.... was a little disappointed but still happy that finally its our turn.

then!! then!! when its our turn, to be lined for the next tram, (all seats were taken for that current tram already) the staff asked us how many of us.. told them 4... and then he looked at us for a while and asked us to board on the the back row of the tram! which was not taken up!! i guess they probably choose who they want to scare most! haha we were damn damn damn lucky!! we got the last row!! thanks man night safari....! cuz indeed like what hui said... the back of the tram was the best seats!

let me start of with the first part of the tram.... which is the normal animal seeing part... 2 special incident which i remember clearly...

the first on antelope! as they are not caged, they get to walk, roam freely but by right they will always stay with the troop. and obviously there is this sotong happily went eating grass till lost its way or he got fed up with his troop and decide to take a walk by himself... he walked so close to dongz!! omg! tell me about it!

cuz me and hui was seated in the middle of the 2 guys la, JH on the far left end and dongz on the right end and summore we were at the last row of tram, which is slightly lower than the normal seats.. cuz i think we're behind the engine.

dongz was.. for the first time, frighten! cuz it was huge! (from far they look small) but it was a male and alot bigger with those sharp things on their head, shit i forgot what its called... yeah and it was FUCKING NEAR him! basically that fellow just scared dongz man... dongz wasnt even scared of those scary "huntu".

2nd incident was... at the elephants session. there were 3 very quiet and peaceful female elephants on the left side. a little down, one male elephant on the right, all by itself. and it seems really playful. eating grass and yet at the same time, nodding his head and smiling at us. the tram stopped right front it front of it, and it was kinda near us,...

everybody was told not to on any flash for cameras as the animals might just go blind by our flash... or the norm, scared by it la... so this gan geong spider seated in the middle of the tram obviously wanted to snap a nice shot of that happy elephant and DID NOT TURN OFF ITS FLASH LIGHT!!! so shingzz shingzzzz!! AND the flash birghten up the whole damn place and of cuz the elephant was shocked for a while la! then the mischeivious elephant used its trunk and blew lots of water at the middle of the tram! ok heng ar! the lucky us seated at the back did not kenna la...

the naughty elephant was happy like fuck la, threw water at us... super playful and his ears went flipping.. obviously like a sense of acheivement for him... it was definately a super cute and memorable incident at night safari!

alright here comes the scary part of the tram ride....

anyway by the time we finish the ride the Q stopped, no more Qs.. finished! yeah i wonder if we nvr cut Q, we'll never get the chance to take the tram ride...

then all the character came out and let us take photos...

I love my job cuz occasionally i get to go to nice fun places and i get to have good food!

this entry is all about GOOD FOOD! was invited by Lawry's team for a nice lunch :) of cuz its always great to discuss about work over good food. :P

Hungry... its always good to have some warm bread while waiting for the courses to be served...

i had this special lunch set. Lawry's changed their lunch set every 3 months, so the very lucky me got to have different courses. previously i had this chicken cutlet set lunch and it was fab!

above is the salad i had, with streaks of beef. the previous salad i had was the spinning bowl salad. i kinda prefer this one more, i guess its cuz of the beef, it was very tender and delicious, plus the egg and dressing... woo.... fab!

then i gotta choose the main course out of 3 choices. beef, lobster and chicken. i had the chicken one. and rae had the steak!

and rae got to choose her side dishes. the greedy girl wanted everything! hahah!

here's another main course, the lobster pasta. i kinda regretted having what i had, judging at the photo this is so so much more tempting!

and tadahhh! this is mine! mexican chicken wrap. alright, all the dishes have got much nicer names which i didnt take note. oops. :) mine is nice too.. and tell u what, the portion at lawry's are huge! i couldnt finished mine all the time...

last but not least... a sweet sweet dessert to sum it all up with a perfecto ending. :P

can't wait for the next lawry's session again!

i so so so so love Jill Stuart's cosmetics! bought so much when i was back in japan. i love their lip gloss, with the diamond on the tip of the container, unfortunately that is no longer in stock already, sadz..

so i got myself a very very nice eye shadow palette! its so damn chio! loves it so so much!

the exterior of the palette is mirror surface! damn pretty ok!

and dongz bought me the below hair dryer.. cuz i really bth the hello kitty one, spoil my hair for sure if i were to continue to use it. the air so damn hot but no energy one, i will take so damn long for it to dry my hair... but with my new rowenta powerful hairdryer.. its like WOAH!!! shiok ar! dry my hair like damn fast now!

i'm just gonna do a plain entry. blogger is down for me again. sometimes i wonder if its only me that is experiencing this.

i got a couple of photos entry, but since blogger is down, i cant view the photos, so cant edit the contents and place it up.

now the grumbles starts....

work wasnt that smooth. alot of things troubling me, alot of things i wanna speak up or talk about, i cant.

passing day each day as it goes by. i am getting more and more tired, lesser motivation each day. be it the people around or the monetary, all is damn disappointing. cant blame anybody, i am fortunate to have a job now, nothing is perfect.

i was just telling my friend, " i work my ass off and get nothing in return, no appreciation." pure disappointment.

during days when i was alone, i worked and felt lonely, wanted somebody to be there to share, the work and my thoughts. now that i am no longer alone, i still feel lonely.

sometimes work is about doing it, not talking about it. so what if you are high up there, you talk alot but whatever you talk doesnt make sense...

Teambuilding Aug 2009

its not that i forget to blog, it becuz blogger always got problem! fed up. finally its ok today. so i shall blog. i really dunno what is wrong with blogger sometimes....

alright, today's entry will be about teambuilding during 7th of august with my colleagues. location: none other than Bintan Lagoon Resort.

anyway me and the ladies. starting from left, rae, chloe, me, jiaye and marie.

its the "energiser!" like ice-breaker...

and here is my team! i love my team so much!! from left: nadeem (director of F&B), eleen me and marie. i just feel we got the right combination.... eleen is good with the GPS, nadeem is familiar with the resort, i am rather good at guessing the answers and marie is a great helper in everyway. what a perfect team. :)

the instructor teaching each representative from each team on how to use the GPS.... eleen was my team representative. i asked her to go up cuz i know this so call techno-bimbo will be good at this, with her savvyness with PS, games and lots more.. lol indeed she manipulated the GPS well.

at every opportunity... i will pose :)

anyway i look damn funny in this photo!!!

oh ya i still have not tell u what we were playing. its geo-caching, something like the amazing race. it was so fun! we travel around the whole resort to search for the correct answer and we also need to do roadblocks ok~! damn tring la~ but its really very very fun.

see we were so focus~ :) anyway i have chosen this as my best photo. gotta have FOCUS printed for me.

okie below is the first roadblock we did. the waterball. all i can say its not fun at all, damn tiring, perhaps because i am in a competition, its more stressful and all i wanted was to complete the course and did not enjoy.

see i gotta paddle like a puppy and reach the other end of the pool. i can tell u... its damn tough. not easy at all.

hahha i still can smile. i think i was trying to tell them its really tough but i ended up laughing. lol

next one to go is eleen, i think i look damn cool with my wind in my face. hahah i was giving her tips i think...

i just wanna say, it was a great teambuilding, i enjoyed it alot although there were some hiccups. i had a lovely team and i really wanna thank them. cuz i believe its becuz of them, the teambuilding was then fun.

my team did not win, was the last team, cuz we were late. we didnt know we have to get back on the dot despite even not completing. i still think we are the best team. :)

Happy 3rd Year - Part 2

here is the part 2 for me and dongz 3rd year. we did a post celebration, requested by me of cuz!~
its a saturday but dongz were cooperative enough to meet me earlier than usual. his usual is like 9pm. :)

anyway i insisted that he bring me to jacks place. its been years since i at at jack's place. i think at least 3 years!

i had lobster soup! yum yum!!

here is my cod fish! damn shiok okie! i love cod fish~ xue yu~ its fresh and full of omega~ great fatty acid! lol most importantly i love the bake potato, with the soup cream and lots of garnish~ :P slurrrps!

dongz had a combo of fish and beef... ok.,.. i think he too hungry to wait for me to take a photo, started with the sauces before i can even take a photo.

and finally i got my present... he wanted to get me that adidas sport bag which i liked one month back.. lol okie.. i changed my mind and wanted this...

Happy 3rd Year - Part 1

this entry was one month late! almost. haiz. okie. our (dongz and me) 3 year is actually on July 23rd. it was a thursday and we had a simple dinner session after work.

camwhoring a little at the office building toilet. oops.

anyway i really like the office building toilet, at least at my office's level, its rather clean, compared to some other cha-pa-lang building. just that at times, some chiu cheng fellow dirtied the toilet seats! yeah its like what the hell!? how can a woman dirty the toilet seat!? tsk, i just dunwan to mention details la. there was once real gross one, i'll leave some space for your imagination.

oops, i also forgot to mention this is gonna be a damn short entry! muhaha~

i went to robinson at city hall to grab dong's present. i had fun choosing him the gift, i just feel so happy. its like buying happiness for somebody, you'll get happy too... presents will be review later...

dinner was at crystal jades. yeah la, one of my fav all time. dong's treat. had congee, fried dumplings, veggie, fu rong dan... and dongz had shark fin!! without my share! arghz! i already scolded him for it already. he make sure he dun make the same mistake again.

cuff links! i just find the cuff links damn chio, i just hope he dun lose one of it, cuz i'll be ANGRRY if he does. the cuff links are even more ex than the tie! got him a tie too.. :)

silver tie with marble cuff links with tini weeny diamantes makes a smart dongz at work. :) i made that up... :P

anyway other than treating me to dinner, he got me this! its the princesses! too bad, it would be better if they have Ariel solely.

okie finally blogger is working. i dunno what is wrong but for the past few weeks i have problem with blogger, or izit my comp?

i got so much to update but the problem with blogger made me no mood to blog. so now its fine i better rush through some entries!

way back then ima treated me and aunt to japanese buffet at mirama hotel. the so-famous buffet.

back to the restaurant

i have always though buffet at hotel would have be in a restaurant with more ambience and class but for this buffet, its very traditional jap. so dun expect it to be like sakae sushi, its very much like the yoshinoya i went to at japan.

the food there... very very fresh for sashimi. other than that... hmmm variety not so much, not so fanciful, but taste is good.

i think the owner of the restaurant might be half jap, otherwis the wife jap. lol. otherwise why always go japan and collect all these?

I love CROCS!

i am actually at bintan lagoon resort now. bringing my new manager for site inspections and competitor analysis. and dun be jealous i just finished a traditional javanese massage. heez. very awake now after a bath although its a long and tiring day for me. shall blog a little.

this was sometime back. its me with my new hair colour, but you cant tell from the below photo. i was going to meet my darline. finally get a chance to meet her as i was on leave.

the hair is the same but its alot blonder now.

met darline at plaza sing as i wanna eat swensens 1 for 1 lunch! both of us had clayfish pasta. not my favourite though, still prefer fish and chips of half chicken.

while shopping at PS i saw this doll and immediate thinks it looks like SHUHUI LO!

then i went to get CROCS! it was so comfortable darline decided to get a pair too! heez!

my crocs! so chio right! sweet pink! darline bought black, somehow or somewhat black suits her alot. and guess what! we spent close to 1.5 hour in CROCS ok! choosing the right pair and also choosing the studs!

i got myself 4 studs and darline 6.... i wanan get more in the future.. :)

i am so addicted to this korean drama, everyday i am following it hard. at least 45 min is dedicated each day to watching it! that is also the reason why the blogging had stopped, cuz blogging time was used to watch drama!

Rene & Elizabeth's Wedding Ceremony

it was the big day for dongz's good friend Rene on 4th July, last Saturday.

all set ready and waiting for dongz to pick me up for the wedding.. so its cam whoring time...

okie thats alot of me!

Wedding ceremony was held at changi village hotel and it was a poolside wedding banquet! very cool! its my first time attending to a more westernise wedding lol.

we got there really early so i manage to grab a couple of shots with no interuption at all.

the wedding gift for the guest was a little cupcake.

anyway the wedding was a really simple one. food was buffet style but not bad. what i like is the romance and lovely atmostphere. :) dongz was saying he might consider this kinda style. hahah but i tell u what, it will never be like this one lo! this kind of wedding is suitable for a smaller crowd and a romantic couple. for dongz, i think the chinese damn loud yam seng style will be more suitable for him. lol!

okie.... some of the new stuff...

my new chanel inspired bag! i love it so so much! and most importantly the price is no where near chanel's, its at affordable price with great quality! loves it!

mini skirt! from zara TRF! i realise all my favourite mini skirts are from zara. just love their cut and wash. ragged and sexy! lol. anyway i hope its not impulse purchase. i think the whole process took lesser than 15 minutes. walk into zara, fell in love with the skirt, hesistated for a while, but cant resist to try it on. tried and loves it! got a new piece, paid and go! pa pa pa pa! :) fast and furious. muhahahaha!

i am such a typical singaporean! i saw on CLEO that watson is giving away this majolica make-up pouch (limited edition) with a minimum purchase of $50 worth of product. so i bought the new mascara, new colour for lip gloss (shimmer pinky), and a brow pencil.

okie i am very happy with the purchases.. okie thats all for now.

Its been a really tiring week for me... can die... i feel so tried and stressed up...

I AM SO FAT

i feel so fat!

dongwei kept on saying that i grew fatter recently.
in fact i did put on 2 kg and no matter how hard i tried, it just cant go down! okie la, honestly i nvr really tried.

i also feel that i grew rounder... all the good food during lunch time and popo's great cooking for dinner plus some late supper sessions with dongwei and my cravings for chips... omg! i feel so fat!

i needa do something!

i will climb the stairs instead of taking the lift.
i will go to the gym and extend the norm 30 min session to 1 hour and 30 min.
i will cut down on ribena.
i will stop the chips.
i will not eat for supper.
i will avoid chocolates.
i will stop typing and start doing. :)

Dinner at moonriver, a restaurant at Capitol Building selling Japanese curry. i forgot to bring cam, so nvr take photo. the rest of the photos are all grabed from the girls. The curry was nice, but i remember it to be nicer when i had it 4 years back lol. You get to choose the spicy level of your curry, non-spicy, spicy and very spicy. i always take the spicy. Had the cheese pork chop curry rice that day...

then it was chill-out at the roof... tts all... :)

The Girly Version

Sunday was as usual with my hubby, (I love him to the max) we headed down to Suntec.

Dinner was usual too at food court and I always goes to this stall that I so love. It’s this Japanese stalls that sells teppanyaki and tom yam ramen/udon! What a unique combination! That’s what makes me like it so much! And I will always order the tomyam ramen with fried chicken. Its my favourite, and its really delicious!

Usually we will head to the book store, but this time round we went to a couple of sports shop to source for my yoga matt! I am gonna take up Pilates soon! I am so looking forward to it, isn’t it lovely? Oh, I didn’t get my yoga matt, but hubby spent so much time at Adidas searching for tops, in the end he spent more than 300dollas at that shop, and I was his personal fashion advisor throughout. I was happy for him.

And we had yami yogurt before he sent be back.

The Ah-Lian Version

Sunday was same, go to suntec again, no where else to go but there. Always there, also dunno why dongz buey sian!? Sincerely dunno why. But nvm la, its more relax over there.

Eat dinner at food court and order the same damn thing!! Anyway I kinda like to eat that so no grumbles. But sometimes I really no idea why this food court can be so creative! You can have tomyam and Japanese together in one same bowl! Just as Cha-pa-lang as Singapore! Rojak ar!

Instead of going to the bookstore, (heng ar) I was searching for my yoga matt around, but no luck. Stupid dongz went shopping at adidas instead and bought so much stuff! Make me so jealous and he bought me nothing! At least should reward me for being his private sales assistant right! Take clothes for him in & out to try so many times. Sianz!

Then yami yogurt at last and go home to prepare for the stupid Monday to come.

Great food yo~ had a spicy Japanese noodle. Ain’t it funny man, Singaporeans just love to mix and match yo… Japanese with thai together… that’s real funny yo. Anywayz…. That was dinner.

Tried searching for a yoga matt but there aint nothing yo… damn. That was crappy. Ervin had a hella good time shopping yo, bought tons of stuff from adidas yo. Aint him a lucky man. But damn, it was tough yo, I gotta helped him pick up the craps yo. Nah, I aint his mama yo… isn’t that shitty.

The Pussycat Dolls Doll Domination Concert 2009!

pussycat dolls concert update!!

all i can say that the concert was great! just that the company was rather bad. i went with the wrong person! dongwei is just not the correct person that i should watch a pussycat dolls concert with, i should have asked my gf instead!

anyway all dressed up for the concert! was so excited i took 2 days leave for the concert! lol.

a couple of photos... didnt took too much, cuz it turns out really blur... i took videos instead.

all i can that i was rather "swae" cuz there was this bunch of teens in front of us, they kept standing throughout the whole concert lo!! omg! aint it tiring? even slow songs they also wanna stand! omg! and i cant stand, if i stand, the row behind me will need to stand, and then the patterns goes on... that was a bit irritating la. but overall i enjoyed the concert alot.

nicole scherzinger's voice was fantastic! she sang throughtout and her voice was not even abit shaky! she didnt go out of voice. she was just great. i think pussycat dolls can only be dancers without her singing. but without pussycat's dancing, it wont be that appealing too.

even dongwei was saying that her voice is damn good. see! even dongwei says so... so you can imagine how good her voice is.... better than andy lau's.

anyway here are the videos... most of them i took was rather shaky.. cuz i think the cam capture ever minor movement when i zoom in too far.

midway during the concert, they invited 3 contestants to dance to bottle pop! and that was like the best part of! it made the whole hall go crazy! lol cuz the contestants are really very very sporty! and it was damn funny!

last saturday i went to plaza sing and found this new shop at B1. Its a korean make-up store like faceshop but its called etude.

love the pinkie packaging~

and i got myself some nail polishes... pinkie again!

and this is my new fav tidbits! the other day chloe let me tried some and i am now addicted to it! i introduce to dongwei, and he is now addicted to it too. lol!

anyway the other day went to supperclub for a function. the place is kinda cool, orginated from amsterdam this place will be once of the new hangouts for alot of people around my age, i believe.

a little more about the place, i was too shy to take photos as i was with my boss and its suppose to be official, so no play-play. the place has got lotsa big beds! yeah! insteads of having chairs, they had big beds and you can laze around, have dinner and drink drink drink... yeah nice...

they are simply too sweet, i cant resist not placing it on my blog... i fell in love with them with one look....

lastly! my newly manicured nails! done by... Stephanie Tang! me me me! so chio! i am happy with my own work, its been ages since i DIy....

JAL Girls - Dinner & Same Shoes! [May]

aiyo i really needa complete my May outing for the girls. its already june and we just had another outing ytd.

It was dinner at Ding Tai Feng and some shopping. i didnt join them for drinks after dinner as i was really tired already.

anyway my girls never failed to create commotions and laughters! they also never failed to update me with juicy stories! ho ho!

Shyann, Janice, Candise and myself bought the same pair of shoes at Isetan! Its very pretty really very pretty, take a look at the photo below.

its lace and pointed! very cinderella-like! and its rather comfy! but then damn my mouth for saying that its comfy cuz the the 2nd day when i wore it, it cut the back of my feet till it bled! fortunately i got something from SCROLL, a fur-like plaster for blisters actually, i got it and stick to the back of the shoe and now its so comfy its one of my fav pair of shoe.

so pretty right! i love it... and the main thing is, its really unique! i have never got anything like this before, rubbery plastic but beautiful.

our feets! guess who's feet is it! lol! anyway i guess the most easy to differentiate one is Janice's cuz hers is the most boney and skinny and veiny one. i call her feet, chicken feet. oops! she is gonna kill me for sure liao.

wah i am damn lag with blogging! omg. i got so many to blog and all are so outdated already! i still havent upload the videos i took at pussycat dolls concert which rock ass to the core. i still havent update the last outing i had with the jal girls and i am meeting them again tmr! omg!! so lag! what the hell am i doing...!!?? ok i am playing games at the time recently thats why.... heez.

its damn funny la! i didnt know the restaurant is call angel's share! i tot jianhao is asking us to share something.. cuz we all know, darline, hui and myself, we are call the angelz. lol! okie its damn funny la, just now its not as funny when i type it out.

anyway we were so hungry we kept eating the bread! lol

then the blur cock waiter send the bread again for a second time wrongly/accidentally! so we eat again! you can imagine how damn long we waited for our food to arrive! anyway i was damn pissed at this angel's share place. so i used the word "blur-cock" on that waiter, which i usually dont, cuz its damn rude. but i got no choice, cuz the place just suck, at least when i am there it suck.

first of all, we waited damn long for the food to arrive. then the waiter/waitress ignore our request for water for like 5-6 times! we just kept asking and nobody gave us water, i almost felt like it was going to be drought! damn! then when jianhao ask them to serve the birthday cake, you know what they did? they just bring the cake out when everybody was at toilet!! and bring out the cake like literally with the box also lo! what kind of bloody service is this! and the food is not cheap k. the service simply sucks. haiz.

i totally neglected my blog again! this time round, the culprit is.... SIMS FAMILY! ok, i still havent got the version 3, so i dig out the version 2 bought years back to play. and like years back, i am addicted again! everyday when i have extra time when i am at home, its SIMS family time.

i got my handphone gmask-ed! yeah. i think its a great job. i did it at Plaza Singapura's gmask shop. fast and good!

and the reason why i went to gmask-ed my phone is becuz i wanan crystalize it! yeah! got tons of crystal from ah neh uncle. spent like over 70 bucks... tsk tsk....

Monster Vs Alien

If you have not catch monster vs alien. i really think you should.

I was heisting whether to watch it cuz darline did tell me its not worth the money. but i still watch it in the end. and thank goodness it did not disappointment me at all. it fact it was great.

a simple storyline but it was hella funny i must say! even dongz, whom was having a bad day and lousy mood and lack of sleeps find it funny too.

anyway here is the funny fella in the movie. his name is bob. he is acutally a jelly so he has got no brains! and its damn funny! just watch the movie and you will know why i say so.

this... is Dr. Cockroach (i rename it) my fav character in the movie and he is damn hilarious as well. especially his laughter! it reminds me alot like the evil in austin powers! but he is not a bad guy, he is a good person.

lastly the main leading actress for the cartoon. her name is susan and she looks so so much like my colleague Chloe. and i actually helped crop her photo and change it as chloe's msn icon. and i had a hella good time laughing!

Movie Review - I Love You, Man

i attended the movie previe of I Love You, Man yesterday! Lucky to be choosen by omy.sg! I Love You, Man will only be in the cinemas from June 18th... so peeps stay tune....

Reached the cathay at 6.15 and queued up damn long together with darline for a meal as arshton! lol i think we queued for half an hour!

after dinner...... collected our tickets

after collection of tickets, thinking that we still have some time before the start of the movie, so we camwhore a little laa....

then this really funny thing happened! here's the dialog between me and darline

Plot

the title might gives off the idea that it is a movie of homosexuality, but its not k, its more of like a man trying to find a best friend! hahaha! ok... dun have any judgement yet k, let me explain a little more.

Usually its girls like us who has got a bunch of good girlfriends, where we will do shopping with, talk on the phone with, do our manicures & pedicures with... etc... but it doesnt really happen to boys right?...

so this guy, Peter "Paul Rudd" is getting married but he has got no best friend to be his best man! poor dude, so he tries really hard to find one, of cuz in between, lotsa funny things happened. and i mean it! damn funny things happened! i wanna keep it a suspense, trust me, i wont lie to you, expect the unexpected. some of the lines by Jason Segal in the movie are damn funny!

i like this movie, relaxing and funny, i had a hella good time laughing when i was inside the cinema. i think good company makes the movie even nicer, i got darline to accompany down to the movie preview, its the first time both of us goes to the movie alone! lol! yeah! she enjoyed the movie alot too, i think she laughed alot more than i do... ;P

don't expect those actions you get from comedies like white chicks or night in the museum, it is not a fancy production, but definitely worth watching if you wanna get some hella good laughing. story line is simple but funny.

Quick updates before i head to bed. i went to the movie preview of I love you,Man just now and i will blog about it soon.

super tired now but i had a good day. great company is always good. thanks darline! and i am very happy as i am going to the pussycat dolls concert tonight!!! and i am on leave for today and tomorrow~! i will go to bed sweetly tonight. phewww...

anyway i forgot to post the photo of the la mer powder, i only took a photo of the box the other day! so taaa daa.. see below for that damn expansive powder.... i just feel that the tone goes darker quite a fair bit after oxidise..... let me use it a couple of times before i can comment more about it...

anyway the powder pad is damn damn soft! its like velvet! i must say this is the most satisfying thing about the whole purchase so far....

and below... the mouse dongwei promise me... my hello kitty went ki siao... no la.. its just that i had a really hard time pressing it... so i gave up...

My virgin attempt at Sioh Barrrr Zhang!

Last Sunday i was a good girl for my granny. I stayed at home and helped out with the making of sioh bar zhang! (dumplings!)

Its a yearly routine that granny follows. every year, the sunday before the lunar calendar's 05.05 (wu yue chu wu) granny will make tons of bar zhang, for ourselves and giveaways to relatives and close friends.

the preparation will start early in the morning, around 7am. from marinating of the pork, frying the gultinous rice, cooking of slated eggs, frying of spring onions, cooking of gao lat..... yeah a long long list! yes, and she did it all by herself! of cuz my aunt and ima will help her with the bits and pieces la, but you know, the main chef is still her.

the worst part is, none of my aunts master the skill of wrapping the bar zhang! cuz its really tough and if you dont wrap properly, the rice will come out, or the leaf will tore... so its a tough skill i must say. hahahah

and i master it!!!!

after numerous attempts!!! FINALLY! and its my virgin year of bao-ing (wrapping) bar zhang.
i am so pround of myself! heez! anyway its a very tough and tiring thing, cuz i realise you need alot of strenght and patient, cuz certain time the bar chang's shape wont be pretty for the wrapping the first time. so you need to meddle with it till its the right shape.

yeah while i was practicing, i always call my bar chang alien shape, cuz its so weird! its not triangular, its damn squarish or was it circular... damn any of it is jialat la. wahahahha!

Anyway my popo's bar chang are super delicious! and one of the reason why is below! take a look.

we uses charcole! so the heat is very smooth and hot! alright la at least thats what my granny says.

I still love part 1 the best. its always like these. part one is filled with surprises and the idea was simply brilliant when its not known. However things were kinda expected during part 2, the surprises were no longer surprising. There were certain part when i felt it was rather draggy. Certain part was like rather similiar the part 1. For e.g. part one, the car zoom in and the museum zoom out with them shouting, is now changed to the grass patch zoom in and museum zoom out. but i still enjoy the movie alot. :)

Terminator 4 - Salvation

All i can say, this is a must watch. i am not a action pac movie fanatic but the movie is great. despite it being part 4 already, its not like certain movies, where is gets boring as the series goes by. Terminator 4 is filled with action, excitement and thrill. I was holding on to dongwei's hand so tight during certain part, cuz it was really gan geong, both dudes in the movies are rather yandao also la.

anyway i like the intro music alot. its like the signature sound of the movie. mission impossible has it, pink panther has it, James bond series has it... the signature sound.. get what i mean? if you don't just click on the below link and you'll understand what i meant.

I am just so lazy to blog, the weekends seems so short. working hours seems so long. worst is i start to drag myself to work, no motivation....

anyway forget about those unhappy stuff.... here is what i have got recently and would like to share.

tadaaa! i bought the below hello kitty limited edition 3M hook! its so chio!! without hesitation i bought it when i first look at it.

the teddy bear reminds me of my weewee teddy bear lo! its super cute! and it says it can hold up to 2kg of stuff!! okie, i totally believe 3M stuff can do that. 3M stuff are much more durable compare to those ch-pa-lang brand.

i totally have no idea where i wanna paste this on when i bought it. My rule now to my room is that i cannot anyhow stick stuff, eg. posters, and hooks. cuz i find it damn irritating when i have to remove the stains when i remove them for painting. but then i finally decide to stick it on my wall, at this specific corner....

tadaa!! hahah so chio! anyway there is a 3 step manual to stick this hook and one of the steps is to leave it for 24hrs. yeah i totally obey it.

and now let me show you what i have decided to use it for!

taa daaa! its for hanging my bag! cuz i always leave my bags lying around it the room. this will keep it tidy.

alright for the hook, the second item i have got myself is....

la mer powder that cost me $123!! omg! the most expensive powder i ever bought, i wonder how powerful it is... but i did hear ravings about it many times, and i have always wanted to try how good it is...

okie i have started using it already, i must stay it is rather lasting, but its not that fantastic... hmmm mayb i should try using it a couple more times before i find out its advantage. one thing good its, its not rich, as in oily at all... i hate that "CHONG YOU PING" look. lol

i also got myself chanel, cuz i still like it...

good bye YSL! anyway YSL is kinda cool also, i like its packaging alot and its brush applicant is so useful compared to the pad. shall get this again after finishing la mer.

Mom's Day Celebration - Jumbo East Coast

Mother's Day celebration was at Jumbo Seafood east coast! wootz! i simply love the food there so much!

its mum's treat.... a super satisfying brunch....

here i am.... i love this photo, lovely with the seaview at the back, it was really sunny so i was forcing myself to open my eyes... but failed. i love this top and i love the leather bag... its so chio! haha!

anyway here's the food!.... mouth-watering! and we were very fortunate cuz the food are all done by the no. 1 chief of jumbo east coast for my mum lol! yeah the chief is my mum's very good friend so we were really privileged. cuz usually he will just supervised... this time round, he cooked all the dishes for us....

this is a special request, specially made for us only. the menu doesnt have this, its a combination of cold sea-jelly, fruitty mayo prawn roll, sambal fish and cold mango duck. ok the names are much nicer in real life, i made them all up cuz i cant remember what they are call... wahahhah!! i just made them up from how they taste and how they look... ok... i know i am a bad at this... the names i call just made them all so not nice anymore... hahaha. but still its superb ok! the food are ultimate delicious!

we had 3 types of crab! and one of them is black pepper crab!

wahhh this fish cost a bomb! and its fantastic!

mai pian sia! cereal prawn!

this is so so so so good! its sliced pork, pak kwat wong style! damn nice!!! cuz the meat is damn tender and juicy and yummy! pork is like damn nice cooked this way!

2nd type of crab.. chilli crab...

the last type is salted egg style crab. and this is my favourite among the other 3 types! its a new dish at jumbo and its superb!!! i loved it so much i finished every bit on my plate, almost wanting to lick it but resisted. hahahah!

sea cucumber... mushroom... lots of goodies inside claypot style... very cantonese style... and delicious!

3 types of eggs fried this toh miao i think.... its salted egg, century egg and chicken egg! wahhaha!!

salted egg freid beehoon... nice! seafood style.. look at the juicy prawns and scallops!

dessert is aloe vera mango jelly~ very refreshing and cooling... abit sour though, cuz of the mango, but its nice, cuz after all the food, something sour is good for the taste buds and digestion.

i know you all are very envy of me! hahah i always get to have good food! :P

Birdies - Mango & Bao Bao

Peeps... remember mango & bao bao... the little birdies outside my house?
here they are.... i took photos of them for the whole of last week... their growth was rapid... each day i see them, their hair grew more and fluffier... anyway here they are...

i think its last tuesday....

thats the photos i took on last tuesday.. you can see, their feather still little and they are really tiny. they have also become more timid, i guess they can see that i am not their mummy or daddy already so they dun open their mouth wide for food like last time when i shift the plant and when they sense the movement.

last Thursday! they are almost ready to take off! just take a look at them, little birdies with feather and little wings all set for flying...

seee, they are so big already. and then i go near them, they are so scared the push themselves inner into the nest hoping that i wont see them. hmmm... obviously i still see them la, they are so big already! and the nest is getting squeezy for them...

anyway they took off on friday morning.

anyway sidetrack abit.... friday morning, ima shouted, when she was going out for work, she leaves the house by 6.50.... so i ran out immediately. she say she is frighten by those birdies... cuz they flew around our plants and made lots of noise.... aiya... she's like that, v timid one.. lol anyway yup, thats when i know mango & bao bao took off....

i miss them already.... they never come back to the nest anymore, and its emptied now.... haiz... hope their mummy and daddy lay eggs again at the nest again...

i dunno if you guys still remember... previously i told you about the nest outside my house? and then i was so furious cuz the stupid crow took away the eggs in the nest?

yup yup... it was quite some time back, i think before chinese new year.

and you know what, i think the lovely pair of birdies made new ~~babies~~ eggs again! they rebuild a taller nest at the same location and this time round it was a success!! the eggs are not hatched to really little small birdies! i am like watching a "live" discovery channel everyday!

they are a few days old now... no hair, eyes cannot open and trying damn hard to not be cute. cuz they are so adorable! the saying is right lo "everything that is young and small are cute"

so cute right! and you know what, cuz they cant open their eyes yet. whenever i move the plant, they will think its their parents that are back with food... they'll stretch themselves so high up and mouth open up so big to receive the food.... check it out below...

see! sorry are birdies.. false alarm for you guys... i tired feeding them with mango and bao.... cuz i think they are damn hungry... anyway i got scolded by my popo, she say later i make them lao sai. lol!

anyway their parents are damn lovely, the will take turn to be back and bring back food. i guess they are much more alert this time round and making sure that no crows are near. i also think that the crows are lesser nowadays, as not too long ago, i saw people shooting crows down... yeah lesser of these crows are good!! then my little birdies can grow safely....

they are still growing healthily, and everday i will take a photo of them.. i wanna record down the process of the growth... i will update soon...

anyway i am thinking of giving names to them.... 2 of them... hmmm... one is more active, one is more quiet... so how? oh i know! i shall name the active one mango and the baobao! lol

i know its been ages since i blog!
but i am obsessed with sorority life and pet society on facebook! yes yes i know i once said before pet society seems boring, but now i think its rather interesting, :)

i only figure how cute pet society is when i was waiting for my sorority life's power to recover.

and i am so addicted! that i do nothing but play them! and of cuz i got quite a couple of nice saucy romance novel i just bought from kino and harris that i need start on....

so i shall say my life is packed and wonderful. :) thanks peeps for loving my ~~boring~~ oops! i mean juicy blog & my life!

anyway i wanna share with you some really funny stuff at pet society.

i created my pet damn long back when the game just started to be popular among my friends. i left it there to rot without playing it after registering. then my nice friends were the one busy bathing it and visiting it....

okie, my pet is call poppy. its a female. and somehow or rather, i think it looks alot like wee wee, i kept telling weewee, "ur sister poppy is at pet society" lol!! wth! call me crazy!

and i guess all of u know about the "cheat" to earning more coins at pet society, damn! no wonder everyone was playing it like its super freaking nice. its the "cheat" la! and everybody's house is like super chio now. damn i wished i have started earlier. nvm,... its never too late....

so at my very first attempt to look around and figure out how to play the game. i was like laughing my ass off.... now i tell u why...

Last saturday went to Peony Jade at Clark Quay to have brunch with my family. It was a mini celebration for grandpa's birthday. lay low~

all thanks to hui for introducing me to play this and now i am all addicted to it! its better than pet society! lol okie, not as if i played pet society, cuz i am so not interested in that. wonder why everybody is so enthu about it... hmmm... maybe one day i should really try it out, but meanwhile its still SORORITY LIFE! yeahs!

Family is important

everything was rather fine today, work was smooth, everything was rather good, nobody pissed me off, i didnt pissed anybody off. but somehow i just feel sad.

its family issue. thats all i can say. and i am not like some stupid bimbo bloggers that say out everything on their blog as if this is a secret diary when its NEVER GONNA BE! tons of people are reading blogs everyday! and you wanna show the whole world how nasty you can be by saying nasty things about your family members! crazy! zhin bo liao!

even if i mention anything, i shall keep you in suspense. i just know my granny is really upset.

the moment Business Review Meeting has finished i wrapped up some important things and rushed back home knowing that my 2 old folks (my grandpa and grandpa) are waiting for me for dinner. yesterday and today is different from other days. just different, so its a must that i rushed home. usually i can loiter around a little bit more, but today is a no no.

just as i have expected. the scene i saw from my door before i stepped into the house, grandpa meddling with untensils for dinner. granny sitting on sofa and pretending to be interested with whats on tv. my key opening the door crack sound made them both turn immediately, so obvious hoping for me return. i was a little late compared to usual, its BRM and it never ends early.

anyway i just love my old folks so much. so happy to have them with me.

tmr is gonna be a happy day, its friday and the weekends are coming!

i realise alot of people in this world have a problem with their mouth! or should i say tongue.

these people has got words that comes out of the mouth, that didnt pass through their brain. and most of the time offending people unknowingly.

people starts to dislike you and you have no idea why? people starts to dislike talking to you, dislike hanging out with you, then it must be something that is wrong with u right.

years back. i was like that, blurting out words that offend people yet i still thought its ok! ignorant me! now that i am more mature, i have words go through my brains before its out. and i make sure that words i say doesnt offend or hurt people, but still its not that easy, at times i still make the mistake, but at least so much more lesser.

you might think people feels ok with your words, but mind you, that smile doesnt tells you its ok, behind you, people might be hating you for it already.

you might think its just a joke, why so sensitive, hah! then if you think that way, no true friends can tolerate you.

so spare a thought for words coming out your mouth. think twice before you speak. put urself in other's shoes. people don't owe you.

i shall keep it simple.

Shyann and Gary's ROM was at Changi Seaview Resort... Went there together with Dongz~ But unfortunately i missed the soleminisation ceremony. tsk~ and when i reach there there weren't any food left liaoz. tsk, thats the problem when you are late! sianz...

and i am so sad i nvr doll up myself nicely knowing that there will be lots of photo-taking. all becuz rush of tiem.... i was looking so pale. :( sadz! and not looking nice on photos. :( nvm, next year when its her customery i make sure i doll up myself like SUPER MODEL! wahahah! joking k.... the doll up part is serious though.

My Hair Appointment

this happened i think 3 weeks back. went to siglap supercuts together with darline to do our hair.
before i head out~ haha~ me and my messy hair and my lovely teddy bear wee wee. i love wee wee so so much *muackz*

you must be thinking i am crazy, but i really love the bear alot~ and its really huggable. hubby says he will be me another bear next vday, hmmm, dunno how true. haha shall see. but i told him one bear will do. cuz my bed is already rather crowded already! with donald, koala, dale and little sheep. whad do you think! and pool bear gotta sit on top of the bed shelf. blehz!

One day of leave = A typical day for Stephie

i'm having a super long weekend. people had 3 days of no work for Good Friday long weekend, i, have 4 long days! today i am on leave!

I have decided to blog about my typical day of no work. to you it may be boring, but to me, its fantastic, this is the lifestyle i am so looking forward to~ perhaps will only happen will i am super old and got lots of CPF waiting for me.

i took leave for no reason, i predicted that yesterday night will be a drunken night for me, its Shyann's ROM and we jolly know how nasty the girls get when it comes to drinking, however nothing seems to happened! it was a simple night, decent and clean~ no drinking for me. so~ the leave was like... a little extra, but nice though.

Waking up Early~
woke up at 9.30am in the morning! and the first thing that comes to my mind is macdonald's hotcakes! i rushed for a bath and put up minimal make up, put on my 3/4 jeans, a white plain top and birkies and chiong out of the house at 10.15am. hopefully to be on time for macdonald's breakfast when i reach town.

Dramatic Breakfast~
*guaaaa~ guaaa~* so sad, when i got to town, its already 10.55am! and macdonald's so unfriendly breakfast timing usually ends at 10.45am. so i thought i shall not waste time walking to lucky plaza's mac and hope for a hopeless hope, i walked straight to burger king at wheelock. thankfully their breakfast is rather flexible, despite the timing being 11.05am, they still serves breakfast.

had my fav, croissant wich with ham and egg, hot tea... lazed around, eating slowly, nibbling on my crispy hush brown and reading the new novel i just bought. life is shiok is everyday is like this, slow pace and relaxing.

Desperately Seeking Nicole Jordan's
i didnt know time pass by so fast, it was already close to 12 after breakfast! chiong to borders wanting to grab the novel by Nicole Jordan, my favourite author currently. I was super dismay as it's sold out (the part 3 to the series i am reading)~! damn! it was still on the shelves on thursday! and its gone now! wah piang eh, i regretted not getting it! so i told myself i still got one more chance, which is to go to kinokuniya to see if they still has it....

Forever 21 is always my favourite!
while walking to kinokuniya, i will definitely pass by this store which i simple cant resist! its forever 21, my all time favourite~ wanted to get a pair of rusty gold earrings, but couldnt find the right one, still i got my hands on something, a damn chio hair band~

Getting the ear piece fixed!
my main purpose of going to town today is not to loiter la! i got 2 main reasons! and one of them is to get my ear piece fixed, damn gao wei, one side is not working. headed to sony ericsson's service center.... yeah now, no more handphone radio for me at the moment, no more going to work, and going back home radio sessions for these few days, gotta rely on my mp3 player~ haiz. the reason why i dont like to bring the mp3 player out is simple, it makes my bag heavier and it has got no radio!! but no choice la, its not as if its so big~ gotta tahan la...

Kinokuniya...
finally i got to kino and they have the part 3, its just now the cover is a little distorted and i do not like the idea of buying distorted stuff, when its suppose to be brand new... so i already asked the staff to see if their supplier is getting stocks in.. for both part 2 and 3.... gotta wait for the news.... haiz... so no story book to buy lo.... NAH!!!!!!!!! hahahha i bought the part 4... kiasu me! hahah just scared that the part 4 is also sold out how~ better be sorry than to regret~ okie... after i got the part 4... the part 4 is officially sold out in borders and kino~ wahhahahah! heez! so happy ar~

then.... here is the 2nd main reason why i am at town! to get my watch which i sent for repairs last week. now my Guess watch is like brand new with the polishing~ wootz super happy~ and the swaroski is sparkling like diamond~ wootz

then walked orchard towers to get my skin care... and took a bus to marine parade library~ told you is desperately seeking Nicole Jordon's!

okie la.... so sad. the series that i am reading is not avaliable at national library~ haiz~ but nvm, i still borrowed some books back to read~ then headed back home..

went to jumbo seafood with leticia, jades, grace and eleen the other day after work, a friday. it was pay day and we shall splurg a little on good food. we went to the one at east coast!

This first dish is my favourite dish. its pineapple cream fried big prawns or something like that, but its so damn nice!! i am not a prawn lover, and when i eat prawn, i will have skin allegy and the skin around my mouth will start to peel if i eat too much of it. but this is one good dish i simply cant resist!

Damn, if i say this is another of my favourite dish, are you gonna bash me up. cuz everything at jumbo is so damn nice. but compare to the prawn, i still prefer that. its scallop surrounded with yam paste, very nice, especially dipped with the black sweet sauce. wootz

here's hotplate seafood eggy~ very yummy also. loves! everything is so nice! *faint*

stir fried baby kai lan with garlic. yummy! just nice, not oily.

heres salted fish fried rice. very good also! wah... i simply love jumbo's food. superb! heez

the finale!!! its the chilli crab~ the sauce dipped with the man tou is so so nice~ fab~!

thanks mum for the dessert! sea coconut and almond jelly~ so cooling and refreshing~

so looking forward to go jumbo seafood again, but only the east coast outlet~

Cycling and Fun Fair!

hello everybody! its me stephie and my HOT PINK bike!~ hahahha! okie la its not mine, i rent it.

cycling session with grace and eleen at east coast park last friday after work! i love cycling!! It was really fun, and the point is that grace and eleen made me laugh so much during cycling. cycling behind them is better than watching a comedy!

You must be wondering if the 3 of us are all cycling and had our hands on the handles then who is taking the photos right? its our ms ng! eleen doesnt know how to cycle, so the very kind grace was her "driver" for the day.

they had the double seater bike!

we rode all the way to lagoon hawker center to have our dinner. it was so difficult finding a seat there but it was all worth it cuz the food there are yummy! or izzit becuz that we are hungry?! hmmm....

eleen and myself... we look so oily! hahahah! from the cycling and the hotness from the hawker! wootz~

okie, after dinner its fast ride back to the bike rental place, we needed to rush to return our bike before 9! and when we borrowed the bike, we had only 1.5 hours nia, and the ride to the hawker was hilarious! and we spent so much time laughing! so drama till it drizzled half way through! and eleen was like shouting "yi! er! yi! er!" (one-two in chinese) when she is going upslope! wah paing eh! no wonder grace buey tahan her~

happy cycling day for us!

it was rather early so we loiter around east coast and eleen insisted on going to the temporary fun fair that was there. she wanted to sit the "pirate ship" (hai dao chuan) but unfortunately me and grace didnt entertain her on that.

so we went to play this!

i dunno what it is call, but its quite fun~

a simple explaination: put in a dollar for a chance to scoop some sweets, then drop it onto the moving tray and then the moving tray overflows, sweets will fall off the tray and when one of the sweet hits the CHECKER at the tip of the tray, you get one chance of spinning the jackpots. and the jackpots will determine how many steps u will go, usually its one. and when it reach 30 steps later, you will jackpot and the doll will fall off for you. yeah pretty fun!

after looking at eleen played, i tried my luck on the jackpot also. and got myself dale from chipmunks. stayed there till close to 12.... cuz we were so addicted with the game...

grace eleen and her stitch~ she loves it so much when me and grace insisted that the fellow is ugly. hahahha!

anyway here is my dale! cute cute! but i still prefer my wee wee better~
